Bob Shanahan is the Chief Executive
Officer and co-founder of the Human Resource Management Group, LLC (HRMGSM),
a full-service management and human resources consulting firm. He
has over 30 years of human resources and management experience with
Exxon Company, U.S.A. and the Plantation Pipe Line Company, an Exxon
affiliate. He has served as a business partner to senior management
while delivering timely, cost effective HR services that are
customer focused and results oriented. Bob is a Registered Georgia Mediator
(#1236), and has extensive training in Continuous Improvement and
Group Leadership. He is an active member and has held leadership
positions in the Society For Human Resource Management (SHRM); is
certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR); and
has held leadership positions in the National Liquid Pipeline
Roundtable. He is a member of the Board of Directors and serves as
Chair the Personnel Committee for Lutheran Services Of Georgia (a
non-profit social services organization that provides various
community services). Bob is an accomplished speaker on many human
resource topics.
Bob received his Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Administration from Norwich University and a
Master of Business Administration from Western New England College.
He was recently an adjunct professor of Human Resource Management at
Shorter College in Atlanta. He held the rank of Captain after active
and reserve duty in the U.S. Army.
Bob resides in the Atlanta, Georgia
area with his wife, Linda. They have two adult children. He is
active in many local, civic, and church organizations.
